The first plot details for Scary Movie 6 have been revealed, with the movie focusing on Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), and there will be more surprising parody villains.
On X, CinePOP shared the leaked plot details for Scary Movie 6. Here they are below:
Scary Movie 6 will focus again on Cindy (Faris), an insecure woman who discovers a substance that seems to solve all her problems.
The story begins with Cindy finding a substance that makes her younger. But once she rejuvenates, everything starts to go wrong, and the substance begins to negatively affect both her and her friends.
All the main characters from the first and second films are set to return.
The movie will parody Pennywise, Vecna, Billy from the Saw franchise, Ghostface, and The Nun.
Will Poulter will reportedly play Pennywise and possibly some other characters as well.
Also, the ending of the film will tie into the storyline of Stranger Things Season 5.
In a podcast, Marlon Wayans said the first trailer for Scary Movie 6 will be released on February 27 in front of Scream 7.
Directed by Michael Tiddes and penned by Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory Wayans with Rick Alvarez, the movie is the sixth chapter in the Scary Movie saga and follows the events of Scary Movie 4.
The cast includes Faris as Cindy Campbell, Regina Hall as Brenda Meeks, Marlon Wayans as Shorty Meeks, Shawn Wayans as Ray Wilkins, Jon Abrahams as Bobby Prinze, Lochlyn Munro as Greg Phillippe, and Dave Sheridan as Doofy Gilmore, alongside Anthony Anderson, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Felissa Rose, Savannah Lee Nassif, Cameron Scott Roberts, Sydney Park, Gregg Wayans, Ruby Snowber, and Benny Zielke.
Scary Movie 6 will hit theaters on June 12, 2026, by Paramount Pictures.
