The first plot details for The Mandalorian and Grogu, starring Pedro Pascal, have been revealed following the release of the trailer. In the film, Din Djarin (Pascal) and his apprentice Grogu face Imperial warlords after the fall of the Galactic Empire.
What is the Plot of The Mandalorian and Grogu?

“The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.”
The film takes place after the events of The Mandalorian season 3, set in the New Republic era five years after the fall of the Galactic Empire in Return of the Jedi. The trailer is packed with creatures and droids — with Sigourney Weaver‘s Rebel Alliance colonel standing out as the only unmasked human character — and the adventure has a distinctly family-friendly tone.
This marks the first new Star Wars film since J.J. Abrams’ 2019 trilogy closer, The Rise of Skywalker. The cast includes The Bear and Deliver Me From Nowhere star Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, son of the infamous Jabba the Hutt, and Jonny Coyne as an Imperial warlord.
Directed by Jon Favreau from a screenplay co-written with Dave Filoni, the film features music by Ludwig Göransson, who returns once again to score the franchise.
