The final runtime for ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga‘ has been revealed. The film has a duration of 2 hours and 28 minutes.
Directed by George Miller from a script he co-wrote with Nico Lathouris, his co-writer from ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’ The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Imperator Furiosa, Chris Hemsworth as Warlord Dementus, Tom Burke as Praetorian Jack, Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus, Lachy Hulme as Immortan Joe/Rizzdale Pell, John Howard as The People Eater, Angus Sampson, and Quaden Bayles.
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
George Miller’s Partner Reveals Lengthy Action Scene in ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’
In a recent interview with Total Film (via GamesRadar), Miller’s producing partner Doug Mitchell mentioned an intense action scene in ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’. He said it took 78 days to shoot and involved nearly 200 stunt workers daily.
Mitchell said, “You see an accumulation of skills over the course of a battle, and that’s very important for understanding how resourceful Furiosa is.”
The film is produced by Miller and Mitchell under their Australian-based Kennedy Miller Mitchell banner.
