We have exclusive news that Hunter Doohan (Your Honor and Wednesday) is playing Muse in the show. Muse is a serial killer who creates art using his victims’ blood. It seems he might be targeting Mayor Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), based on his artistic portrayal of him.

In Marvel Comics, Muse is a psychopathic serial killer—known for using his victims’ blood and body parts to create disturbing pieces of “art.” Muse is highly unpredictable and intelligent—often staying one step ahead of authorities. He mainly appears in Daredevil stories and comes into conflict with Daredevil, as his crimes terrorize the people of Hell’s Kitchen.
Here’s the plot details for Daredevil: Born Again:
“Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York City. When their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
The series is co-directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, with Dario Scardapane serving as the showrunner. The show will have nine episodes and has officially been rated TV-MA.
The show also stars includes Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn and Nikki M. James as Kristen McDuffie, both of whom were love interests of Murdock in Marvel Comics. Also, Michael Gandolfini will portray Daniel Blade, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Genneya Walton as BB Urich.
