‘Inside Out 2’ VOD Release Date Confirmed

Pixar and Disney’s billion-dollar animated movie ‘Inside Out 2‘ now has a confirmed VOD release date. The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV on August 20, 2024.

‘Inside Out 2’ has become the highest-grossing animated film of all time—the film scored 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.8/10 on IMDb, 73% on Metacritic, and received an A CinemaScore from audiences.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, who made his feature directorial debut, with a screenplay written by Meg LeFauve and Dave Holstein, ‘Inside Out 2’ is the sequel to ‘Inside Out’ (2015). The film returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley, just as headquarters is disrupted by something entirely unexpected—new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety and friends show up.

Disney and Pixar’s ‘Inside Out 2’ returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. She’s brought along Embarrassment, Envy, and Ennui.

‘Inside Out 2’ was released in theaters in the United States on June 14 and has grossed $1.562 billion worldwide, making it the highest-grossing film of 2024.
