Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders), Jack O’Connell (Lady Chatterley’s Lover), Marshawn Lynch (Murderville), and Rita Ora (Wonderwell) are set to star in Drew Kirsch‘s action-thriller film ‘He Bled Neon‘.
Directed by Kirsch and written by Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson (Lowlife), ‘He Bled Neon’ is based on an original story by XYZ co-founder Nate Bolotin, inspired by his experiences growing up in Las Vegas.
What is the Plot of ‘He Bled Neon’?
As per the synopsis, “After his estranged brother’s mysterious death, Ethan’s (Cole) journey to Las Vegas for the funeral unravels a dark web of crime, forcing him to confront his past as he delves into the city’s gritty underworld to uncover the truth, risking everything he holds dear in the process.”
Produced by XYZ Films (BlackBerry) in collaboration with frequent partner Two & Two Pictures (Under the Shadow). The film is set to feature a score composed by Grammy nominee Zhu in collaboration with Joseph Trapanese (The Greatest Showman and Straight Outta Compton). XYZ will handle global sales at next month’s Cannes market, with WME Independent co-representing domestic distribution.
Ora, with a record number of UK top 10 singles, is currently a panelist on The Masked Singer and has starred in films like Fifty Shades of Grey, Twist, and Pokémon Detective Pikachu. She’s set to feature in Descendants 4: The Rise of Red on Disney+. Lynch, the former All-Pro NFL running back for the Seattle Seahawks, has transitioned into acting, appearing in projects like Bottoms, No Script, Westworld, and Murderville. O’Connell, known for roles in Rogue Heroes and Unbroken, recently starred in Ferrari and Back to Black. He’s now filming a thriller directed by Ryan Coogler for Warner Bros.
Kirsch is known for co-directing Taylor Swift’s music videos ‘You Need to Calm Down’ and ‘Lover’. He’s also directed videos for Shakira, Charlie Puth, John Legend, Imagine Dragons, and Machine Gun Kelly.
