The first trailer for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux‘ will be released on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, during CinemaCon 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures. Also, some exclusive scenes from the film will be shown at the event, as confirmed by insider Daniel Richtman on Patreon.
CinemaCon is scheduled to take place from April 8th to 11th, 2024, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
On Twitter (X), Gaga shared the trailer release update along with the film’s first poster.
When Will The ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ Trailer Release Online?
Following the screening of CinemaCon 2024, Warner Bros. Pictures will immediately release the ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ trailer on their social media accounts.
Directed by Todd Phillips and stars Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn, Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey. The filming began in December 2022 and finished in April 2023. While filming was underway, leaked images of Gaga in New York City surfaced online. Gaga is playing the role of Dr. Harleen Quinzel (Harley Quinn), a psychiatrist who falls in love with Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) and is also his greatest supporter.
The film had a $200 million budget and reportedly leans heavily towards being “mostly a jukebox musical,” as confirmed by Variety. The film will include at least 15 covers of “very well-known” songs.
