Searchlight Pictures has officially announced the VOD and DVD release date for Yorgos Lanthimos‘ ‘Kinds of Kindness,’ starring Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, and Willem Dafoe.
When will ‘Kinds of Kindness’ be available for streaming?
‘Kinds of Kindness’ will be available on digital streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies and TV on August 27, 2024.
The film’s DVD and Blu-ray release date is scheduled for October 8, 2024. You can buy it on Amazon.
Directed by Lanthimos from a screenplay he co-wrote with Efthimis Filippou, also stars Stone, Plemons, Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.
According to the film’s official logline, “Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing at sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”
Produced by Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Lanthimos, and Kasia Malipan, ‘Kinds of Kindness’ is a collaboration between production companies Element Pictures, Film4, and TSG Entertainment.
‘Kinds of Kindness’ was released theatrically in the United States by Searchlight Pictures on June 21, 2024.
