Pop icon Lady Gaga is confirmed to appear in Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2.
During the 2025 Netflix Tudum event, Gaga made a dramatic entrance and performed “Abracadabra,” “Zombieboy,” and “Bloody Mary” alongside eerie dancers.
Netflix confirmed that Gaga will appear in Wednesday Season 2 as Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore Academy teacher who crosses paths with Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday.

It was also revealed that more guest stars will appear this season, including Christopher Lloyd (The Addams Family), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous), Thandiwe Newton (Westworld), Frances O’Connor (The Twelve), Haley Joel Osment (Somebody I Used to Know), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries), and Joonas Suotamo (The Acolyte).

Tim Burton will continue his role as director and executive producer in Season 2, with Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson also directing. Creators and showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar executive produce Wednesday alongside fellow EPs Ortega, Steve Stark, Andrew Mittman, Tommy Harper, Karen Richards, Kayla Alpert, Jonathan Glickman, Gail Berman, and Meredith Averill.
Wednesday Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in two parts: Part 1 on August 6 and Part 2 on September 3.
