Loki Season 2 Episode 2, titled ‘Breaking Brad,’ is now streaming on Disney+. This episode focuses on Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) as they work to save the TVA and reunite with Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino).
In Episode 2, Loki and Mobius head to 1977 in London, UK, searching for Sylvie within a sacred timeline. They encounter Hunter X-5 (Rafael Casal), assigned to locate Sylvie, but he has chosen a life as a Hollywood actor. Loki and Mobius apprehend him during his escape attempt, returning him to the TVA. During questioning, he refuses to disclose Sylvie’s whereabouts and attempts to unsettle Loki and Mobius with his poignant words emotionally.
Hunter X-5 has an untraceable hacked TemPad from the TVA. Initially, Loki asks for Ouroboros ‘OB’ (Ke Huy Quan)’s help to repair the TemPad, but OB provides a guidebook instead. This leads Loki to try fixing it himself. Believing Hunter X-5 has information about Sylvie, Loki, and Mobius come up with a plan to trick him.
Loki uses his cunning tactics to extract the truth. They later visit a McDonald’s and find Sylvie leading a happy life there. Loki attempts to convince her that she belongs in the future and asks for her assistance in returning to the correct timeline.
Ouroboros discovers that the Containment doors are locked, and only the person who designed them, Kang, can open them with a live scan of his temporal aura. Additionally, they can’t override the lock because Miss Minutes is missing.
In the finale, General Doxbius (Kate Dickie) intends to prune all the new branches (timelines) and eliminate everyone. Loki, Sylvie, and Mobius work together to thwart Dox, but she has already pruned numerous timelines, causing chaos at the TVA. Episode 2 concludes without any post-credits scenes.
