Marvel Games and NetEase Games have released the launch trailer for the upcoming Marvel Rivals game. Watch the trailer above.
Marvel Rivals is a new team-based PvP shooter where players can create all-star squads of Marvel Super Heroes and Villains.
You can unlock all the heroes in Marvel Rivals, including the newly revealed heroes: Wolverine, Squirrel Girl, Iron Fist, Black Widow, and Cloak and Dagger.
Gameplay Features:
- Utilize unique powers for each character.
- Battle on destructible maps inspired by locations across the Marvel Multiverse.

In Marvel Rivals, players can look forward to choosing heroes split into three distinct roles based on their unique power inclinations: Vanguard, Duelist and Strategist. They’ll be free to pick their preferred role and hero, teaming up with allies to create a versatile and dynamic lineup for battle. But that’s not all, as they’ll be able to reach a whole new level of team play collaboration with Team-Up Abilities, unleashing joint superpowers with their allies, tearing down the battlefield to win in exciting fights! Marvel Rivals is in development by a NetEase team composed of global talent that share a profound love for the Marvel Universe and characters who previously worked on hit shooter franchises played by millions of players worldwide.
According to Marvel’s official website, the Marvel Rivals launch trailer features renowned rock vocalist Chrissy Costanza, performing the theme song “Rivals ‘Til the End.” Best known as the powerhouse frontwoman of the band Against The Current and for her iconic gaming anthems like “Legends Never Die” and “Phoenix,” Chrissy’s career seamlessly bridges the worlds of gaming and music.
The official video game soundtrack for Marvel Rivals, Galactic Tunes, will be available on streaming platforms starting December 6. Limited vinyl editions are also available for pre-order on Mutant.
Marvel Rivals launches on December 6, 0:00 UTC with all heroes unlocked and free to play at launch and beyond. Players can pre-load the game on Steam starting December 4, 0:00 UTC.
