Marvel Studios is looking to turn the Scarlet Witch project into a movie, and Jac Schaeffer, known for developing ‘WandaVision‘ and currently working on ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ is in consideration as the director and writer for the film. Elizabeth Olsen is set to return.
Is Marvel Planning the ‘Wiccan’ Series for Disney+ and the Solo Scarlet Witch Movie?
According to Scarlet Witch News on Twitter, Marvel Studios is working on a ‘Wiccan‘ series for Disney+, set to lead into a solo Scarlet Witch movie. Discussions are also ongoing regarding how to include ‘The Children’s Crusade‘ storyline in the MCU.
As per ‘The MCU: An Official Timeline,’ Wanda Maximoff, assuming the identity of 838-Wanda at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, consoles her sons and assures the heartbroken Scarlet Witch of their love. She then destroys Wundagore, collapsing it upon herself, eliminating two major threats to the Multiverse.
Scarlet Witch had a big impact on MCU’s Phase Six, starting with ‘Deadpool 3.’ Earth-616’s Scarlet Witch takes over Earth-838’s Wanda Maximoff’s body, who once wreaked havoc in a superhuman-led universe ruled by Professor X.
In ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty,’ Scarlet Witch will be working for Kang, much like MODOK in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.’ Interestingly, the Scarlet Witch could kill Kang with a snap and effortlessly. Kang offers her the opportunity to regain the time she lost with Vision (who died in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’) and her children.
