Marvel Studios is actively searching for an actor to play the Silver Surfer in ‘The Fantastic Four‘.
Anya Taylor-Joy is reportedly under consideration for the female villain role, which, as previously mentioned, would feature a female Silver Surfer as Galactus‘s herald.
Galactus Fixed as Main Villain in ‘The Fantastic Four’
In Fantastic Four, Galactus is confirmed as the main villain, and Antonio Banderas was offered the role a few months ago, but now Javier Bardem is reportedly being eyed. Marvel is currently trying to figure out Bardem’s schedule due to his involvement with a different film.
Marvel recently revealed the F4 cast lineup: Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Joseph Quinn as The Human Torch.
Will Doctor Doom Appear in ‘The Fantastic Four’?
According to The InSneider, Doctor Doom will reportedly make a late appearance in ‘The Fantastic Four.’ Casting for the role is expected to occur later in the film’s production.
Directed by Matt Shakman, the original script for ‘Fantastic Four,’ written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, is undergoing a rewrite by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, expected to be finished in a month or two. The filming start date for ‘Fantastic Four’ is now set for Q3 2024.
