Marvel Studios is confirmed to be returning to the San Diego Comic-Con panel this year. ComicBook.com says Marvel Studios’ SDCC 2024 presentation will be at Hall H on Saturday, July 27, at 6 PM PT in California, USA.
The panel will be one hour long and will be hosted by Marvel president Kevin Feige, who will reveal upcoming projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including new movie announcements. TV show updates will be reserved for D23.
What to Expect in Marvel Studiosʼ SDCC Presentation?
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is releasing on July 26, 2024, and Marvel’s SDCC panel is taking place the very next day. We can expect an official X-Men film announcement, the New Avengers 5 title, a Thunderbolts update, a Spider-Man 4 update, and more.
Feige said on The Official Marvel Podcast that the Fantastic Four movie will begin filming on the Monday after Comic-Con, which would be July 28. He said, “Our director, Matt Shakman, has already moved to London, and we start filming at the end of July. Funny story, we start shooting the Monday after Comic-Con.” Feige added, “We start filming the day after Comic-Con on Fantastic Four. I’m extremely excited because those characters are mainstays, legendary pillars of the Marvel Universe that we’ve never gotten to play with or explore in any significant way apart from [Doctor Strange in the] Multiverse of Madness and a few fun teases before. So, I’m extremely excited.”
The Fantastic Four will hit theaters on July 25, 2025.
