The release date for the upcoming Marvel Studios’ “Secret Invasion” has been revealed. The series will premiere on Disney+ on June 21, 2023.
What Is The Plot Of “Secret Invasion”?
Marvel Studios’ “Secret Invasion” stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as the Skrull Talos—characters who first met in “Captain Marvel.” The crossover event series showcases a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.
The series stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Kingsley Ben-Adir as Gravik, Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, Killian Scott as Fiz, Rune Temte as Bron-Char, Emilia Clarke as Abigail Brand, Christopher McDonald, and Carmen Ejogo.
In an interview with Emilia Clarke (Via CBR), she said that it was her Rubik’s cube that opened from Marvel. The actress mentioned her Marvel appearance as a lifetime achievement. She told, “It’s like everyone at Marvel knows how to unlock the Rubik’s cube, and you couldn’t even possibly — I can’t do a Rubik’s Cube to save my damn life. I hope a lot of people can’t also. It’s like they have some secret thing, and it just works. It just works!” the actor said. She also described her time working on Secret Invasion, calling it “chill” to work on. “We had a lot of laughs. They’re just so chill, and I think I’m not that chill, and I think if I were them, I would be so unchill all the time.”
The series is created by Kyle Bradstreet for Disney+. Executive Producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Jonathan Schwartz, Samuel L. Jackson, Ali Selim, Kyle Bradstreet, and Brian Tucker.
