The utilization of A.I. in creating the content for Secret Invasion, the first Marvel project to do so, is alarming. Method Studios designed the opening credits of the show using A.I., containing the show’s themes. Ali Selim Reveals Artificial Intelligence’s Role in Creating Intro Sequence for the Show
According to Ali Selim, the director and executive producer of the show, the intro sequence was created by Method Studios using artificial intelligence. Selim believes that this use of AI aligns with the core themes of the show. Speaking to Polygon, Selim said, “When we reached out to the AI vendors, that was part of it — it just came right out of the shape-shifting Skrull world identity, you know? Who did this? Who is this?” See the footage below.
Selim added that he doesn’t “really understand” how artificial intelligence works. He continued, “We would talk to them about ideas and themes and words, and then the computer would go off and do something. And then we could change it a little bit by using words, and it would change.”
