A new teaser for Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World reveals Harrison Ford‘s President Thaddeus Ross declaring Adamantium as the most versatile metal in the MCU.
In the teaser, Ross says, “When the Celestial Mass emerged, we squabbled over it. What was found inside that island is a discovery of millennia. I present to you Adamantium. We can’t let this get into the wrong hands.” Watch the teaser below.
In the MCU, Vibranium from Wakanda was known as one of the strongest metals. Now, Adamantium has also joined the strongest metal category. We already know Adamantium from Wolverine’s claws and his skeleton.
In an interview with Empire, director Julius Onah discussed Captain America’s battle with Red Hulk. He said, “He’s got some tricks up his sleeve, and over the course of the film, there are things he learns that become other tools in his arsenal when facing even the most impossible of threats.”
Directed by Onah from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. The film stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, Rosa Salazar, and Xosha Roquemore.
Here’s the official synopsis for Captain America: Brave New World:

He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
