During the NYCC panel, D’Onofrio spoke about Daredevil: Born Again:

“When we finally figured out how to do this show, it was so exciting to really play it the way that Charlie and I always wanted to continue. A lot of us involved in the first iteration were really yearning for a better way, and it worked out.”

Cox revealed that his beloved superhero character was able to sneak in an F-bomb for “the first time ever.” When asked if the swear word appeared in Episode 1, Cox confirmed it did not, but it is still included in the series.

He also teased that plans for a second season of Daredevil: Born Again are potentially in the works:

“It is not, but it was shocking to me. It’s almost under my breath, but you can hear it. I was like, ‘Oh wow. Great!’ Good to know for Season 2.”

Daredevil: Born Again was co-directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, with Dario Scardapane serving as the showrunner, replacing Matt Corman and Chris Ord.

The new cast for Daredevil: Born Again includes Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn and Nikki M. James as Kristen McDuffie, both of whom were love interests of Murdock in Marvel Comics. Also, Michael Gandolfini will portray Daniel Blade, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Genneya Walton as BB Urich.

When will Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Part 1 be Released, and How Many Episodes Will it Have?

Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 Part 1 is confirmed to have 9 episodes and will premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
