Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for the Ironheart series, starring Dominique Thorne and Anthony Ramos. Riri Williams returns, armed with new tech and a mission all her own. She’s building her own legacy in the MCU, with the series set to premiere on June 24 on Disney+.

In the trailer, Riri Williams is seen creating N.A.T.A.L.I.E. — an artificial intelligence system, much like Tony Stark’s J.A.R.V.I.S. or F.R.I.D.A.Y. In Marvel Comics, N.A.T.A.L.I.E. appears to reference Natalie Washington — Riri’s best friend — who was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting. Watch the trailer below.
The trailer also offers a first look at Ramos as The Hood, who appears to be the main villain of the series. In the comics, Parker Robbins — also known as The Hood — starts out as a low-level crook but quickly rises through the criminal underworld after stealing a demon’s magical cloak and boots, which grant him powerful mystical abilities. See the image below.

In a recent interview, Marvel’s Head of Streaming, Brad Winderbaum, revealed, “There’s a full practical suit.” He added, “It doesn’t obviously do all the crazy things that the suit does, but we used a lot of techniques that go all the way back to the first Iron Man film, where we actually had a practical suit on set.”
Here’s the plot details for Ironheart:
Set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Marvel Television’s Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Thorne)—a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago.
