Mia Goth (Pearl, Infinity Pool) has joined the cast of Marvel’s ‘Blade‘. The film will reportedly begin filming this June. Goth will star alongside Mahershala Ali, Delroy Lindo, Aaron Pierre, and Milan Ray.
Mia Goth Will Play The Role Of Brielle Brooks In ‘Blade’
As per MoviesRant, Goth is playing the role of Brielle Brooks, the daughter of Blade and Safron Caulder. According to Marvel Comics, Brielle was a young woman who apparently lived a normal life in Atlanta.
In Marvel comics, Blade, a.k.a. Eric Brooks first appeared in Tomb of Dracula #10 in 1973 and was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Gene Colan.
Produced by Kevin Feige, Eric Hauserman Carroll, Louis D’Esposito, and Bassam Tariq. It is the thirty-sixth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the twelfth installment of the MCU’s Phase Five.
Mia Goth is best known for her roles in The Survivalist (2015), High Life (2018), Suspiria (2018), and Emma (2020). She received world recognition in the X slasher film series installments X and Pearl and most recently starred in Infinity Pool. She will next star in the final installment of the X series, MaXXXine.
‘Blade’ will arrive on September 6, 2024.
