Mia Goth was nominated for Best Lead Performance for her role in the psychological horror film ‘Pearl’. The film is a prequel to X (2022) and the second installment in the X film series, it serves as the origin story for the title villain, whose fervent aspiration to become a movie star led her to commit violent acts on her family’s Texas homestead in 1918.

Unfortunately, Mia didn’t win Best Lead Performance, and the winner was Michelle Yeoh for ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’.
