After ‘Creed‘ and ‘Black Panther,’ Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler are teaming up for a new movie, described as a secret genre.
The film is yet to be titled. Coogler has written the script and will direct, with Jordan joining the project after ‘I Am Legend 2,’ where he co-stars with Will Smith.
What is Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler’s next film about?
According to Jeff Sneider of The Insneider, Jordan and Coogler’s next film together is said to be about vampires and features a period element.
This is Coogler’s first spec script through his production company, Proximity Media. The project, based on his original idea, is fully developed internally. Coogler, along with Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, will be producing the film. The project is super secret; not much is known about it. Executives and buyers had to go to WME, the agency for Coogler and Jordan, in Beverly Hills last week to check out the script and get details.
Coogler, a sought-after filmmaker, reinvigorated the Rocky franchise with ‘Creed’ and directed the cultural hit ‘Black Panther,’ which earned $1.2 billion worldwide and a rare best picture nomination in the comic book genre.
