IGN revealed the first 10 minutes of action footage from ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One‘ at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The film will be available on digital HD platforms on October 10, 2023. Watch the clip below.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and co-written by McQuarrie and Erik Jendresen, the film stars Tom Cruise as the iconic character Ethan Hunt. The film’s plot follows Ethan Hunt (Cruise) and the IMF team must track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity if it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than the mission — not even the lives of those he cares about most.
Paramount Pictures released ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ in theaters on July 12, 2023. Despite earning $563 million worldwide, the film, hampered by its high production costs and overshadowed by the ‘Barbenheimer’ cultural phenomenon, faced disappointment at the box office.
The film’s sequel, ‘Dead Reckoning Part Two,’ will be released on June 28, 2024.
