Netflix has released a new behind-the-scenes look at One Piece Season 2 during Netflix’s Geeked Week event. It was also confirmed that Joe Manganiello has been cast as Mr. 0/Crocodile, while Lera Abova has been cast as Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin.
In a behind-the-scenes featurette—Buggy the Clown himself—Jeff Ward takes us on a tour of the production of One Piece Season 2. The production designers showcase the designs of the Ipponmatsu Arms Store—where Zoro stops to restock—and unveil some other shops, including Doskoi Panda and The Polestar Gallery. ‘The three shops next to the Arms Store are exactly from the manga,’ they explain. Additionally, there’s a glimpse of Twin Cape Lighthouse—teasing the introduction of Crocus in Season 2. Watch it below.

For Season 2, Joe Tracz will join Matt Owens as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer. “Joe has brought a wealth of enthusiasm and experience into our second season that will help take One Piece to new heights,” said Owens. “We’re incredibly lucky to have him as a co-captain of this ship. The best crew on the seas grows larger!”
One Piece a live-action series based on Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga, is a co-production between Netflix and Tomorrow Studios, with Netflix overseeing physical production. The show is written and executive produced by Steven Maeda, with Owens. Additionally, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, along with Eiichiro Oda, the manga’s author, are executive producers.
‘One Piece’ Season 1 is now streaming on Netflix. Season 2 will premiere on Netflix in 2025.
