New plot details for Amazon’s Spider-Noir live-action series starring Nicolas Cage have been revealed.
According to the synopsis, the Spider-Noir series follows Ben Reilly (Cage), a private investigator who stumbles into a web of corruption in 1933 New York City while confronting the legacy of his past as a superhero.
Reilly investigates the death of Edward Addison, a case that leads him to uncover a sinister scheme involving the Mayor, crime boss Silvermane, and femme fatale Yuri Watanabe.
Recently, Empire Magazine reported that “Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Verse version is getting his own live-action series, set in 1930s New York. Expect to see Nazis getting punched and eggs being used as a drink.”

During last year’s Amazon upfront presentation, the Spider-Noir teaser premiered, featuring Cage suited up as Spider-Noir and fighting several villains.
