A new poster has been released for the upcoming ‘Ted‘ prequel series created by Seth MacFarlane for Peacock. Serving as the third installment in the Ted franchise, it is set to premiere on January 11, 2024, with MacFarlane reprising his role as the voice of the titular character. Check out the poster below.
According to Peacock’s official description of the show, “Set in 1993, the series begins as “Ted the bear’s (MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts, with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach), and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.”
In the ‘Ted’ prequel series, MacFarlane takes on multiple roles, serving as the writer, executive producer, co-showrunner, director, and star. Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh are also co-showrunners and executive producers. Fuzzy Door Productions’ Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, and Aimee Carlson, along with UCP, Fuzzy Door, and MRC, are involved in the production.
The ‘Ted’ prequel series, featuring seven episodes, premieres on Peacock on January 11, 2023. Watch the trailer below.
