The runtime for ‘No Hard Feelings‘ has been revealed. The R-rated comedy will be almost 1 hour and 39 minutes (99 minutes). The film contains (sexual content, language, some graphic nudity, and brief drug use). Recently, Jennifer Lawrence revealed why she chose a theatrical release instead of streaming for her r-rated film “No Hard Feelings.” Lawrence told APN News, “I look much better at 12 feet high.”
In the film, Maddie (Jennifer Lawrence), who thinks she’s found the answer to her financial troubles, discovers an intriguing job listing: wealthy helicopter parents looking for someone to “date” their introverted 19-year-old son, Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman), and bring him out of his shell before he leaves for college. But awkward Percy proves to be more of a challenge than she expected, and time is running out. She has one summer to make him a man or lose it all.
Lawrence revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she found a real-life Craigslist ad so hilarious that she couldn’t stop laughing. The ad inspired the R-rated ‘No Hard Feelings’ directed by her longtime friend Gene Stupnitsky. Lawrence said, “Gene read the Craigslist ad to me, and I died laughing.” Lawrence added, “I thought it was hilarious, but there wasn’t a script or anything. I just thought he had a funny idea. And then, a couple of years later, he handed me the funniest script I’ve ever read in my life.”
The film also stars Matthew Broderick as Percy’s father, Laura Benanti as Percy’s mother, Natalie Morales as a friend of Maddie, Scott MacArthur as a friend of Maddie, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Gary, Hasan Minhaj, and Kyle Mooney.
