After Alessandro Michele’s departure, Gucci’s future was uncertain. Italian designer Sabato De Sarno, previously with Valentino, Prada, and Dolce & Gabbana, took over. His “Gucci Ancora” collection made a global impact.
Although originally planned for Milan’s streets, the show moved to the Gucci Hub due to the weather. It was a star-studded event attended by Julia Roberts, Ryan Gosling, Gyuyoung, Edgar-Jones, Mescal, Bad Bunny, and Kendall Jenner. De Sarno seeks to revive Gucci’s essence with rich storytelling and confidence.
