A24 has released the official teaser trailer for the Philippou brothers’ Bring Her Back, a supernatural thriller exploring horrifying rituals and dark family secrets. Watch the teaser below.
Bring Her Back‘s plot confirms that the story follows a brother and sister—who uncover a horrifying ritual in their foster mother’s home. Some of the more striking images featured include found footage from an early digital camera, a bird’s-eye view of a prayer circle, and Sally Hawkins placing her bloody hand upon a window.
The cast of Bring Her Back includes Sally Hawkins, Billy Barratt, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips, Sora Wong, and Liam Damons.
The film is directed by Danny and Michael Philippou and co-written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. This movie marks the Philippou brothers’ second collaboration with A24, following last summer’s Talk To Me. The film became A24’s highest-grossing horror movie domestically, earning $91.9 million worldwide against a $4.5 million budget.
Filming began on June 10, 2024, as announced by Danny Philippou, and on August 3, 2024, he confirmed the wrap on Instagram.
