Predator movies are now set for a horror franchise. With Prey, Predator is now considered a franchise. The blood hunters had a long history. With Prey, we got an idea about how Predators came to Planet Earth.
The success of Predator launched a media franchise of films, novels, comic books, video games, and toys. We have arranged the Predator movies till today in order from top to worst.
1. Prey (2022)
Prey is the latest installment in the franchise. The film is set in the Northern Great Plains in the United States in 1719. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Prey scored 92% and become the high-rated film in the franchise. The film is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and written by Patrick Aison. Starring Amber Midthunder, Dakota Beavers, Michelle Thrush, Stormee Kipp, Julian Black Antelope, and Dane DiLiegro.
The film follows, “A skilled Comanche warrior protects her tribe from a highly evolved alien predator that hunts humans for sport, fighting against the wilderness, dangerous colonisers and this mysterious creature to keep her people safe.”

2. Predator (1987)
Predator (1987) is the first installment in the Predator franchise. The film scored 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is the second-highest film in the Predator franchise. The film follows, “Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a soldier of fortune, is hired by the U.S. government to secretly rescue a group of politicians trapped in Guatemala. But when Dutch and his team, which includes weapons expert Blain (Jesse Ventura) and CIA agent George (Carl Weathers), land in Central America, something is gravely wrong. After finding a string of dead bodies, the crew discovers they are being hunted by a brutal creature with superhuman strength and the ability to disappear into its surroundings.”

3. Predators (2010)
Predators (2010) is the third installment of the Predator franchise. The film scored 65% on Rotten Tomatoes and become the third highest-rated film. The film follows an ensemble cast of characters including Royce (Adrien Brody), a mercenary who appears in an unidentified jungle among other proficient killers. They find that they have been abducted and placed on a planet that acts as a game reserve for two warring tribes of extraterrestrial killers and actively looks for a way to return to Earth. Starring Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Walton Goggins, and Laurence Fishburne.

4. The Predator (2018)
The Predator (2018) is the fourth installment in the Predator franchise. The film scored a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is also considered a not worth watching film. The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Trevante Rhodes, Jacob Tremblay, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, and Sterling K. Brown,
The film follows, “From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. 5. Predator 2 (1990)
Predator 2 (1990) is a sequel to 1987’s Predator. The film has scored a 32% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is the worst Predator film. The film stars Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Ruben Blades, María Conchita Alonso, Bill Paxton, and Kevin Peter Hall. The film follows, “Set ten years after the events of the first film, in Los Angeles, the film focuses on the Predator, a technologically advanced extraterrestrial hunter, and the efforts of a disgruntled police officer and his allies to defeat the malevolent creature.”

6. Alien vs. Predator (2004)
Alien vs. Predator (2004) is the first film installment of the Alien vs. Predator franchise, adapting a crossover bringing together the eponymous creatures of the Alien and Predator series. The film has scored a 20% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film stars Sanaa Lathan, Raoul Bova, Lance Henriksen, Ewen Bremner, Colin Salmon, and Tommy Flanagan.
Plot: When the wealthy and ambitious Charles Bishop Weyland (Lance Henriksen) funds an expedition to Antarctica, he hopes to find a mysterious source of heat that has been detected. Led by a tough guide, Alexa Woods (Sanaa Lathan), Weyland and his team uncover a pyramid, but they also find malevolent parasitic aliens. Making matters worse, another extraterrestrial species, known as Predators, arrive to hunt the other aliens, with the humans caught in the middle of the conflict.

7. Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007)
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007) is the sequel to Alien vs. Predator (2004) and the second and latest installment in the Alien vs. Predator franchise. The film scored a 12% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film stars Steven Pasquale, Reiko Aylesworth, John Ortiz, Johnny Lewis, and Ariel Gade.
Plot: Residents (Steven Pasquale, Reiko Aylesworth, John Ortiz) of Gunnison, Colorado, are caught up in the crossfire when two deadly extraterrestrial species bring their longstanding conflict to Earth. On the one side, nearly indestructible Aliens; on the other, a lone Predator whose mission is to wipe out all traces of the Alien infestation from Earth, no matter who gets in the way.
