Rebecca Ferguson, who plays Lady Jessica, Paul’s Bene Gesserit mother, and consort to Leto in ‘Dune: Part One’ revealed that ‘Dune: Part Two’ is better than Part One. The film is coming to theaters on November 3, 2023.
Speaking to Jake’s Takes, Rebecca Ferguson opened up about her new AppleTV+ series SILO and shared her thoughts on Dune: Part Two. She said, “I’m gonna say, Dune: Part Two is better than Part One. And that’s me without seeing it, that is me saying it based on what I’ve read, what I’ve seen, what I’ve filmed,” she added, before reflecting on her fond memories of filming in Abu Dhabi. “Running on the sand dunes… feeling so small on these incredible hills. How small we are compared to Mother Nature? I love it.”
In Dune: Part Two, Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) is united with Chani (Zendaya) and the Fremen. He seeks revenge against the conspirators who killed his father and destroyed his family’s house. He seems to face a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe; he endeavors to prevent a terrible future that apparently only he can predict.
Dune: Part Two is directed by Denis Villeneuve from a screenplay by Villeneuve, Jon Spaihts, and Eric Roth. The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem reprising their roles from the first film, with Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, and Tim Blake Nelson joining the ensemble cast.
Dune: Part Two will hit theaters on November 3, 2023.
