After losing his family, the masked vigilante RENDEL is caught in a cycle of revenge, destroying the VALA organization piece by piece. VALA’s ruthless leader Christopher “Smiley” Cox is about to release a harmful NH25 vaccine worldwide, which Rendel is trying to stop. Rendel gets help on his crusade from investigative journalist Nina, who uncovers the dark side of the VALA organization. Rendel is also sharing a common goal with a petty hustler, Kurikka, an opportunist with a good heart. With their help, Rendel gets one step closer to his goal. Rendel is forced to battle his own demons, allowing the nightmarish Marla to take over. Marla is a ruthless killer, leaving Rendel to wonder the difference between a hero and a vigilante when the town he is trying to save turns against him. Smiley also has his own demons. His grandfather, Edward Cox, has left a legacy of cruel and ruthless ways in which Smiley keeps the VALA organization under his command. They have also long explored the secret of immortality. Directed by Jesse Haaja from a screenplay by Pekka Lehtosaari, ‘Rendel: Cycle of Revenge’ is a sequel to 2017’s ‘Rendel.’ Produced by Miika J.
