Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld says that ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ has the best action sequences for an MCU film since ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’.
Following the release of the new trailer, Liefeld shared his view on the MCU Deadpool film. On Twitter (X), Liefeld wrote, “I’ve been telling everyone how great this movie looks, and it’s the BEST action since Winter Soldier. The car fight! Forest fight! The ** fight! It’ll be up there with the best Comic Book Films of all time!”
In the new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, there’s a reference to Liefeld and his tendency to rarely draw his character’s feet: “Liefeld’s Just Feet.” You can see the image below.
Directed by Shawn Levy. In the film, Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Rob Delaney as Peter, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, and new additions Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen. The script is penned by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells, Reynolds, and Levy.
The plot of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is as follows: “After some professional disappointments and an ongoing midlife crisis, Wade Wilson now sells used cars. He’s completely hung up his boots until his family, friends, and the whole world are threatened. With everyone he loves at risk, DP teams up with a reluctant Wolverine to fight for their survival and, ultimately, their legacy.”
‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is scheduled to theaters on July 26, 2024, in IMAX, RealD 3D, Dolby Cinema, 4DX, Cinemark XD, and premium screens worldwide.
