The big day for Chris Hemsworth has arrived. Yes, the actor’s star ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is complete, and some of his Hollywood friends attended the event.
George Miller, Robert Downey Jr., and Anya Taylor-Joy attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony honoring Hemsworth.
Downey Jr. delivered a heartfelt speech about Hemsworth, sharing the kind words from their fellow Avengers co-stars Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Evans during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Downey Jr. praised Chris Hemsworth as “remarkable” and “authentic.”
Downey Jr. said, “I want you to know I wrote all my comments myself, which is why they’re going to be quite insightful and, uh, brilliant beyond the cape and the hammer.”
“Your contagious Aussie charm, you are a remarkable human being. It’s no fun following you; you’re a legend. Seeing you here and everybody in the family is amazing. Now, Chris is a bit daunting to describe. He’s very elusive because of the pretty packaging. However, upon further inspection, damn it all, he has a true blue wit and a depth of soul. It has been my sincere pleasure to know you all these many years, but you keep us Hollywood folks on our toes because you’re just a real dude.”
During his speech, Downey Jr. asked the Avengers to describe Hemsworth in three words. “Jeremy Renner said, ‘absurdly, infuriatingly incredible.’ Mark Ruffalo went deep with a “friend from work.” Ah, it’s a reference… Now I understand. Scarlett Johansson got to the heart of the matter with “a sensitive protagonist.” Captain America [Chris Evans] called him “second best Chris.” And I, I will bring mine here and now, with joy and with the feeling that there is no one who deserves it more.”
