Robert Downey Jr. has shared a potentially spoiler-filled post on his social media. The MCU star, now set to play a major villain, unveiled brand-new artwork of Doctor Doom—possibly hinting at the heroes appearing in Avengers: Doomsday.
On Instagram, Downey Jr. shared new Easter-themed artwork featuring Doctor Doom holding a basket full of Marvel heroes, including:

- Spider-Man
- Shang-Chi
- Ant-Man
- Doctor Strange
A closer look at the Avengers: Doomsday artwork of Doctor Doom reveals several hidden details: a Doctor Strange egg, a Spider-Man egg, a cracked New Avengers egg, and a Fantastic Four egg marked with a 🚫 symbol.
Filming for Avengers: Doomsday officially began on March 26, 2025, and wrapped on September 19, 2025. Reports indicate that reshoots are taking place this month, adding new cameos and fixing scenes that the Russo Brothers felt needed work.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.

The announced cast for Avengers: Doomsday includes Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Lewis Pullman as Sentry.
The X-Men cast includes Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, Kelsey Grammer as Beast, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.
The Fantastic Four cast features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing).
