Harvey Dent, an iconic and tragic figure in Gotham City, is a compelling antagonist in the Batman mythos. He has been portrayed by Billy Dee Williams in ‘Batman’ (1989), Tommy Lee Jones in ‘Batman Forever,’ and Aaron Eckhart in ‘The Dark Knight.’

‘The Batman: Part II’ is a continuation of the Batman story created by Matt Reeves, which is now officially recognized as an “epic crime saga” within The Batverse.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Barry Keoghan confirmed that he will return as the Joker in ‘The Batman: Part II’.

Keoghan said, “The filmmaker, the role, and the story are the three boxes that need ticking. I just want to collaborate with people who are out there trying to bring a new approach to it, people who want to take risks. I also want to be challenged and put to the test, where I push my limits and learn on the gig. For me, I physically want to go somewhere. I want to physically change and take on a certain walk or a certain voice and really do a character piece.”

Hush is rumored to be the villain in ‘The Batman: Part II.’ Back in 2022, Reeves mentioned considering Hush as a potential villain for a sequel, but nothing was confirmed. He said, “There are so many, and, I dunno… I think Hush is a really interesting one to do. I’ll say, Hush. But that doesn’t mean that the next one will be Hush!”

When is ‘The Batman: Part II’ set to hit theaters?

‘The Batman: Part II’ will hit theaters on October 2, 2026, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
