According to reports, Johansson is rumored to play a scientist sent to an island for research in the film. The female lead character is among the group of scientists saved by rescuers. The filming is set to begin on July 31, 2024, in Los Angeles. Directed by Edwards and written by David Koepp, the upcoming movie marks a fresh take, ushering in a new Jurassic era.
