Genvid Entertainment and Konami Digital Entertainment revealed the trailer for ‘Silent Hill: Ascension‘. The interactive streaming series is based on the Silent Hill franchise, in which viewers can participate and influence the development of the story. Watch the trailer below.
In the recently released trailer, we see several individuals being attacked by creatures in different locations. These characters seem to have a troubling history that haunts the creatures. The trailer showcases various creatures, but we don’t get a complete view of them. The new creatures include gigantic monsters and a multitude of withered arms, which are likely to pose threats to the characters in the story.
Silent Hill: Ascension is a horror adaptation of the popular video game series “Silent Hill” by Konami. The story takes place in a vast setting where multiple characters are haunted by creatures in different locations. The story explores deep-rooted traumas spanning generations, including themes of murder, guilt, and suppressed feelings of fear.
In a press release, Motoi Okamoto, a producer on the Silent Hill series at Konami, said, “We are pleased to tell a new interactive story in never-before-explored locations, alongside new characters that will be introduced to fans of the Silent Hill universe.” Okamoto added, “It is you who will decide the fate of multiple main characters, which will unfold simultaneously around the globe.”
Silent Hill: Ascension will be available for streaming on the official website of the series. It will also be accessible on various devices, although the specific platforms have not been disclosed. However, there are plans by Genvid and Konami to develop a dedicated player app for consoles, PCs, mobile devices, and TVs to enhance the viewing experience of the audience.
