The VOD release date for the live‑action animated Smurfs has been revealed. The film will be available on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting August 15, 2025.
Directed by Chris Miller from a screenplay by Pam Brady, the film is a reboot of The Smurfs film series, based on the comic book series created by Belgian artist Peyo.

In Smurfs, Smurfette (Rihanna) leads the crew on a daring rescue mission to save Papa Smurf (John Goodman) after he is mysteriously kidnapped by the evil wizards Razamel and Gargamel. The Smurfs join forces with new friends on an epic adventure into the real world, where they discover that their true destiny is to save the universe.
