Sony Pictures has given an update on the long-awaited Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse movie during CinemaCon 2025.
In the panel, Sony revealed exclusive footage of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse and announced the release date. See the first-look images below.

Discussing Film shared the first-look footage description of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
The teaser starts with a colorful prism, showing clips from the previous movies. Miles (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) ride a motorbike, while The Spot (Jason Schwartzman) drains color from places and turns into a spider-like shape. Miles faces an alternate version of himself, now The Prowler, but later, they seem to work together with Aaron Davis (Mahershala Ali). The teaser ends with the prism forming the movie’s logo, giving a hint of what’s to come.

The film is a “massive” finale with a brand-new animation style. It starts right after the second movie and is bigger and bolder than the last two. The team is working on new animation techniques to make it special.
At CinemaCon, the filmmaking team, including producer Phil Lord and co-directors Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, said, “We know how important this franchise is to so many people. We just could not run it back.” They added, “So, we decided we needed to take the time to make sure we got it just right.”
Lord promises, “It’s going to be a massive finale to the trilogy.”
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will hit theaters on June 4, 2027.
