Sydney Sweeney attended the Met Gala 2023 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 1, 2023 (Monday). Sweeney appeared in a “Miu Miu” gown for the Met Gala 2023 and was styled by Melissa Hernandez. See the images below.
The Met Gala 2023 theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”, which aimed to “examine the life” of the late designer’s fashion legacy. In line with the theme, guests were informed that the “most authentic approach” for the Met Gala 2023 dress code would be “to wear an archival look from one of the labels Lagerfeld led”.
Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Campbell, and Jennifer Lopez all walked the Met Gala 2023 red carpet in theme, while other celebrities took more creative liberties with their Met Gala costumes. Doja Cat and Jared Leto dressed as Lagerfeld’s pet cat, Choupette.
