Sydney Sweeney pays tribute to Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud after his sudden demise. She said, “You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime.”
On August 1, 2023, a publicist reported that Angus Cloud had passed away at his family home in Oakland, California, at age 25. Cloud’s family released a statement saying, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.” The cause of death has not been confirmed.
According to his family, Cloud attended his father’s funeral in Ireland last week and “intensely struggled with this loss”. In the statement added, There was some comfort in knowing he was now “reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.” Also added, “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.” At last, “We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone.”
On Instagram, Sweeney posted an image of Angus hugging him and wrote, Angus, you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing ive ever had to post, and im struggling to find all the words. You will be missed more than you know, but I’m so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I’m sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could’ve had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you.”
On July 2023, Cloud shared a photo of his father on Instagram and wrote: “Miss u breh.” See the post below.
Angus Cloud is best known for his role as Fezco in the HBO television series Euphoria. He had minor acting credits in two films, North Hollywood and The Line. Cloud also appeared in music videos for artists including Becky G, Karol G, and Juice WRLD.
