The major plot details and spoilers for the upcoming Amazon series The Boys Season 5 have been leaked online.
On X, user MAJESTIC has shared the main spoilers for the final season of The Boys.
The characters who will survive are Annie, Hughie, Ryan, and Marie. Annie and Hughie will adopt Ryan.
Homelander defeats Queen Maeve. She joins the resistance and retakes Compound V. She leaks the Flight 37 video, causing even Homelander’s own supporters to turn against him. He loses his temper and beats her to death.

The antithesis of Generation V is the Teenage Kix. A-Train mentioned them in passing in Season 4 (Sage is a former member who was kicked out). They are part of Homelander’s army and are responsible for running the camps. Talon and Hyperion, who appeared on screen, are members. They fight Generation V several times and also rip off Cate’s other arm, leaving her defenseless. Ryan leads them.
Jared Padalecki will play Mr. Marathon, the original speedster from The Seven. He is recruited to help fight A-Train.
Ashley’s role is that of White House press secretary under Homelander’s puppet regime. She possesses powerful hair-based powers and secretly aids the resistance.

Sister Sage will die. Soldier Boy explodes, leaving her and Homelander powerless, and Butcher kills her.
Context: Soldier Boy explodes, leaving Sister Sage and Homelander powerless, because Billy Butcher injected him with the virus. However, Butcher also loses some of his powers, and the tumor (Kessler) takes over, hunting down all the supes in Episodes 7 and 8 until Hughie Campbell stops him.
Cate’s powers: She apparently works with Soldier Boy and presumably also with Homelander. They are rumored to have a tense scene and a battle. This would also imply that Marie heals her hands.
Bombsight has a bitter history with Soldier Boy and possesses some kind of telekinetic powers, possibly explosive abilities. It is unknown if he also received V1 or if he is simply very old.
The Russians are involved again. The soldiers in the trailer are part of an elite contingent sent on an unknown mission to the United States.
Homelander dies at the hands of Butcher.
Butcher becomes the final villain but is eventually defeated and dies. Other reported deaths include Frenchie, Kimiko, MM, Homelander, Black Noir, A-Train, The Deep, Queen Maeve, and Ashley.
The Boys is based on the New York Times bestselling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers. The series was developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Judalina Neira, Jessica Chou, Gabriel Garcia, Ori Marmur, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers. The Boys is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, along with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
The series stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Antony Starr as Homelander, Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Tomer Capone as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko Miyashiro, Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir II, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett, Cameron Crovetti as Ryan Butcher, Susan Heyward as Sister Sage, Valorie Curry as Firecracker, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joe Kessler, Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, and Daveed Diggs as Oh-Father.
In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax—big things are going to happen.
The Boys Season 5 will premiere on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video on April 8, 2026, with its first two episodes. The remaining six episodes will be released weekly until May 20, 2026.
