The spin-off of ‘The Boys‘ titled ‘Gen V‘ will premiere in September. Prime Video’s official Twitter account shared a video showing upcoming releases and mentioned how exciting it is to have Prime. The video includes a short preview of ‘Gen V,’ which will debut on Prime Video in September 2023. The exact date has not yet been revealed. See the post below.
According to Prime Video’s official description:
Set at Godolkin University, America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (and run by Vought International), Gen V is described as an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the best contracts in the best cities. Part college show, part Hunger Games — with all the heart, satire, and raunch of The Boys.
‘Gen V’ is developed by Craig Rosenberg, with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, and Pavun Shetty serving as executive producers. See the first-look poster below.
The series stars Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Shaw, Chance Perdomo as Andre Anderson, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, London Thor, and Derek Luh in undisclosed roles, Asa Germann as Sam Riordan, and Shelley Conn. The recurring cast includes Patrick Schwarzenegger as Golden Boy, Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, Marco Pigossi as Dr. Edison Cardosa, Clancy Brown as Rich Brinkerhoff, Jason Ritter, and Alexander Calvert. The supporting cast includes Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Colby Minifie as Ashley Barrett, and P.J. Byrne as Adam Bourke.
‘Gen V’ will debut on Prime Video in September 2023.
