Marvel unveiled the first look teaser poster for The Marvels, starring Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris. The tagline on the poster is “Higher. Farther. Faster. Together.” The Marvels release date has been pushed back from July 28, 2023, to November 10, 2023. Check out the poster below.
The film is directed by Nia DaCosta from a screenplay she co-wrote with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Park Seo-joon, and Zawe Ashton.
First Look at Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers
The Marvels is the blockbuster sequel to Captain Marvel (2019), which grossed $1.1 billion worldwide. It is the 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the third installment in Phase 5. The plot details have not yet been disclosed, but the film is set to follow the events of Ms. Marvel (2022), in which Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau begin swapping places with each other whenever they use their powers and must work together to figure out why.
