Marvel Studios has unveiled a new trailer for ‘The Marvels,’ featuring the stellar cast of Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, promising an exhilarating addition to the Marvel cinematic universe. ‘The Marvels’ is a sequel to “Captain Marvel” (2019), continues the “Ms. Marvel” miniseries (2022), and is the 33rd film in the MCU. Directed by Nia DaCosta and the film also stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Park Seo-joon, Zawe Ashton, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur. The film also brings back Goose, the Flerken. The story revolves around Danvers, Rambeau, and Khan swapping places when they use their powers and join forces. Most recently, the film’s post-credits details were revealed. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Larson told that her trust in Iman Vellani, who plays Kamala Khan, saying, “I’ve just learned to trust Iman because she really has her timelines in order.” Larson shook her head and added, “She’s the one that’s always schooling us. I wouldn’t know how old Carol is without her. She really does the math.”

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”
