According to reports, ‘The Marvels’ is described as great fun with a complex dynamic among the leading trio at its core. It’s an intergalactic character journey that focuses on further developing Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan individually and as a team. The film is enjoyable, embracing the essence of what a comic book movie should be: it’s funny, playful, concise, action-packed, and includes loved cosmic sci-fi moments. Additionally, it seamlessly integrates with the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe without overwhelming the storyline.

‘The Marvels’ Fans Reviews:

According to @TheJosieMarie, “The Marvels is such a good time. It’s the most fun I’ve had in theaters all year. Iman Vellani is a show-stopping show-stealer. She has such a strong presence. While the film does have its narrative issues, it’s undeniably hilarious, endearing, and delightful.”

According to @RayyanTCG, “The Marvels is actually great fun, with a good complex dynamic between the leading trio at its center. Iman Vellani steals every scene. There is some great stylistic action, a hilarious place-swap dynamic, and Lots of meowsomely crazy moments. With also some BIG setup for the larger MCU.”

According to @luigifromporto, “The Marvels is a great movie. You don’t even notice that it’s only 105 minutes long. Nia did an amazing job. The fight scenes are literally out of this world. Choreography is on point! And the end credits scene… I screamed.”

According to@joedeckelmeier, “All I wanted from The Marvels was to have a good time and that movie is fun! Kamala, Monica, and Carol are so much fun together. The swapping, singing, and dancing played better than I thought it would. The cameos, my god those cameos! I’m so happy I saw this in IMAX!”

Directed by Nia DaCosta, the film also holds the record of being the most expensive movie ever directed by a black woman, surpassing Ava DuVernay’s ‘A Wrinkle In Time’. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Park Seo-joon, Zawe Ashton, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur. The film also brings back Goose, the Flerken.

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

‘The Marvels’ will hit theaters on November 10, 2023.
