The VOD release date for Uberto Pasolini‘s The Return has been revealed. The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and Vudu starting December 27, 2024.
Directed by Pasolini, the film is based on a screenplay he co-wrote with John Collee and Edward Bond. It retells Homer’s Odyssey, adapted by the trio.
What is the Plot of The Return?
Years after the Trojan War, Odysseus returns to Ithaca, haggard, unrecognizable, and no longer the mighty warrior he once was. His beloved wife Penelope is a prisoner in her home by suitors vying to be king, and his son Telemachus faces death at their hands. In this reimagining of the end to the most famous epic ever told, Odysseus must rediscover his strength in order to win back all he has lost.
