Tom Hardy has no definite answer on whether Spider-Man will appear in Venom: The Last Dance. According to Hardy, “There are always possibilities” for Spider-Man to show up in the final Venom movie.
Will Spider-Man Appear in Venom: The Last Dance?
During a recent press tour in Mexico, when asked if Spider-Man would appear in Venom: The Last Dance, Hardy, with a smile on his face, responded: “There are always options on the table. I can’t reveal much since this is the final film. [However], I would really enjoy that.”
As we reported, Venom: The Last Dance will reportedly feature two post-credits scenes. One is rumored to show Hardy’s Eddie Brock entering the MCU, teasing a meeting between Venom and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. The other scene is said to introduce Andy Serkis’ Knull, setting him up as a potential villain for Spider-Man 4.
Kelly Marcel, who directed the first film will return to direct from a screenplay she co-wrote with Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
According to director Marcel, Venom: The Last Dance is setting up Knull, even though this is Tom Hardy’s “last time” playing Eddie/Venom. She stated, “There are many more symbiote stories — the universe is wide and rich. One movie could never do justice to Knull. God is coming.”
In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
Venom: The Last Dance is arriving in theaters on October 25, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
