The release date for upcoming Sony’s ‘Venom 3‘ has been rescheduled from July 12, 2024, to the new date of November 8, 2024, following the end of the 118-day SAG-AFTRA strike, as SAG-AFTRA and the studios have officially reached a tentative deal on a new 3-year contract. Additionally, ‘Kraven the Hunter,’ starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, is also scheduled for reshoots.

In their new $1 billion deal, SAG-AFTRA has secured:

‘Venom 3’ is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she co-wrote with Tom Hardy. The film is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom and Juno Temple is the only confirmed cast member as of now. Filming began in June 2023 in Los Mateos, Cartagena, Spain, but was briefly paused due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. In an interview with Collider, Marcel described ‘Venom 3’ as “going to be amazing.”
The plot of the film revolves around Venom and Toxin, who find themselves being pursued by the government. In order to combat the Xenophage, a genetically engineered symbiote killer that has gone rogue, Venom and Toxin are forced to unite and fight together.
